Welcome to the trail at Rushall Farm

The Rushall Farm online trail has been designed for teachers at KS3 and KS4 and for tutors of A-level, college and university studies.

It sets out the kinds of experiences and activities that students enjoy at one of the many organic farms across the country. This trail also highlights links to relevant QCA units and areas of the national curriculum and provides testimonials from teachers.

A visit to an organic farm delivers key areas of the formal curriculum in a stimulating and enjoyable environment. Students learn key skills and acquire knowledge and understanding through a variety of investigative, hands-on activities. A farm visit also makes a valuable contribution in terms of the social, spiritual and moral development of young people.
