From this, the end point of the trail, you can see the town of Buckfastleigh and the steam railway which runs along the River Dart.

Looking down the hill to Caddaford, you can see more fields where vegetables are grown and polytunnels where winter lettuces and summer salad crops and herbs are grown for the vegetable boxes.

» POLYTUNNELS

Polytunnels are like long plastic greenhouses. Because polytunnels are warmer than outside, farmers can grow heat-loving plants (like tomatoes or peppers) for more months in the year.
