Woodland

Ancient oak trees are found in the glen bordering Garnie Burn and in the spring its slopes are covered in flowers called dog's mercury and bluebells. Birds of prey such as tawny owls and buzzards can be seen and, if you are very lucky, you may glimpse the shy red squirrels or hear the woodpeckers tapping.
