Sheep

The sheep graze the pastures in rotation and are regularly moved to 'clean' pasture. This means that the flock of sheep will not graze the same field more than once during the season. This avoids the build up of parasites that would occur if the sheep grazed the same fields throughout the season.

  • Lambs are born in the spring. The female sheep (or ewe) may have a single lamb, twins or even triplets.
