Wildlife

The farm is restoring hedgerows through traditional management. It is part of the Scottish government's Rural Stewardship Scheme which encourages wildlife-friendly work like this. The farm also has wetland and a pond where rare birds such as snipe and reed bunting can be found. Visitors might also spot buzzards, lapwing and skylark on the farm.
