Old meadow

This grassland has never been ploughed and contains over 60 different wild plants, including Ragged Robin (pictured). Many of the plants are very rare in Berkshire as permanent pasture fields like this have been destroyed by intensive farming practices.

  • Organic standards do not allow the ploughing of permanent pastures without prior permission.
