Farm shops are enjoyable places to buy food. You can speak to the staff and find out how your food was grown - much of it is grown at the farm or nearby, so it will be fresh. Shopping from farm shops can also help reduce the environmental costs of 'food miles' - this is the distance food travels between the farm and your dinner plate. |
